oh my gosh the most exciting thing ever happened.

i was going out of school, so i turned on my phone.
was walking with hil.
saw that i had a voice msg.
told hil,'oh no. i hope it's not vj'.
called the voice mailbox place.
it was vj.
and i was supposed to call back.
so i stopped walking.
and i saw dawn.
waved.
told her.
she asked me to call.
i refused.
then she showed us her special talent. (which involves blowing on a piece of cellophane(: )
the whole way to the bus stop i refused.
called ee chen to confirm about tonight.
boarded the bus.
called many other ppl and msged laura to ask for the teacher's name.
cos i wasnt sure if it was lim or hing or ting.
it was ting.
she didnt call anyone else.
so...
nearing serene.
i dialled.

heart pumping, adrenaline racing..
hello? is this mrs ting?
oh yes. audrey?
yes.
oh just wanted to check with you. were you the one in maroon?
oh yes i was.
ok. you've been chosen for the direct. the er.. that thing.

then she told me a few other things. but that wasnt really important. haha. i couldnt believe it.

really thank God for his grace. now i dont need to be so stressed. and i can commit more time to ministry cos i wont be so stressed. yay. it would have been impossible without him. come on, calcuate it. do the math. i stood no chance.

ahhhhh...... i almost cried on the bus. it was overwhelming.

just ate a whole lot of doritos, 2 mini 3musketeers and 1 mini peanut butter cups. i'm hoping the chocolate will help me stay awake for tuition later. apparently sleeping at 9.30 last night didnt do much good since ppl still say i look sick and super tired. but i'm not. well a bit. not like mon and tues though.

i wish i could just go back to june hols all over again. the whole experience of God's prescence in my life, the late nights spent with friends, from the heart talks, i miss it all. now it's just all aiming for the o's. life isn't meant to be all that smooth sailing. but God will help me through it. my aim is not the o's, but eternity. to my true home.

of course here on earth i have my job to do too. and that's what i'm going to do. just pray that God will help me through this. there are just too few hours in a day. it's a challenge, to manage my church and bb involvement and school. but i shall do it. i know it's possible. if i give to God, he will give back to me. He will help me.

sec 4, well, it's just a part of life. all part of shaping me into the person i'm meant to be. all the trials, the hardship, the pain, the joy, the laughter, the dreams. i am who i am because of these.

went for vj dsa auditions today. so scary la. we had to prepare a piece each. i used copacabana music, the same one for dramafest. just that it's cut a lot shorter. there are only 2 places available. 13 tried out. then they narrowed it down to 7. including joan, lorraine, mersa, this really good tk girl, a cedar girl and this guy indian dancer and me.

hurt my leg at the back under my left butt. while doing the work the person set for us. i was really tiring. considering my lack of sleep and going for dance right before that. i hope i get in. though i think it'll be joan and phoebe. :( oh well. i'll get in with my results then.

i'm really burning myself out. need rest. now. pooh. or else i'll just collapse suddenly.

1st day of school. according to ms leong, it's our 39th first day of school since primary one. bleh.

so tired. a lot of people thought i was sick. but i'm not. :( and haha. they said i'm tanner. and not so pale and sickly. i was not sickly thank you. but i think it's cos of teen games. shermin says i'm dark-pale. or pale-dark. something along those lines.

went down to vj to hand in my form. so scary. i hope the person calls me soon. the audition is tmr. i've yet to decide what to do.

dance concert. go!! friday's sold out. yay. thurs 13 july. kallang theatre.

dramafest is on 7th july. go watch!! i think it'll be fun. though my class is currently, ahem, unprepared, we will be soon. :) it's 4sy, 4se, 4gy and 3dg battling it out on stage. yay. tix at $12 from the general office.

pray for me that my passion wont run dry, my fire not burn out. now that school's on again, i really need God's strength to help me balance my committments and pull through.

what would be too great a loss, to give life to one who's lost?

oh dear. the holidays just flew by. i've not had much rest. :( from tmr it's 'chong' all the way till o's. phooey.

had camp afterglow yesterday, youth sunday today. had a lot of fun, got to mix around more with the guys. i think it's working. :) haha. the bbq was pretty good.

youth sunday went well, the skits were really good and the worship too. many people came, so that was really encouraging. sorry steph, we keep pangseh-ing you. :)

need to fill up my dsa form for vj. and psych myself into studying mood. i dont wanna go back to school..

my mummy came back on tuesday.

yesterday went for teen games. yay. go eec! haha. they didnt do badly at all. won some, lost some. had worship practice. which was quite a mess. i think jimmy and shannon are suffering. :) haha.

had youth sunday skit practice. very funny watching skit 1 with all their expressions. yuan was really convincing, and matt was just so poser-ish. :) had good fun.

went to watch cars with churchies yesterday. there were 14 of us. so many. well at least isaac and wayne came. :) everyone played at the arcade before the show. matt and jimmy pretended to be brothers. jimmy called matt "a-di". haha. the show was nice. sweet. but i was cold. :(

then i brought daddy out for father's day dinner and i ate satay bee hoon. yummy. it was a lot. but i didnt know. so i ate it all up then i felt very full. :(

went for special tuition on oral today. there were 8 of us. and we laughed alot. uncle kok weng crashed his car into the pillar. oops. so poor thing. and the car is new.

hahaha. i was just reminded on what happened one of the days during camp. the boys were watching figure skating on espn and then they kept on saying that they knew how to do it. so i taught them how to mount their legs. it was hilarious. josh was trying, trying to do a split. haha. so funny. they wanted to learn ballet. i should have taken a photo. :)

been very busy lately. i've not been getting enough sleep. i think my eyebags have gotten really bad. :(

went to celebrate wei tat's birthday on thurs evening with his gang (ee chen, sherwin, jackson, james, shaun) , kat and jimmy. ate steamboat. but i shouldnt eat so much. it's bad. haha. we talked to them about bb and all.

friday- school. went out with jaz, shermin and jiayu. yay i ate ice cream. then i went to church to meet joash, dominic and wei kang to help them with the afterglow planning. andy, kat and jean were there too. and jan was practicing drums with jimmy and shannon. jan is so hardworking. shannon was really impressed. she practiced for 2 hrs straight. wow. :)

i have to go for dramafest practice now. i dont wanna. boo. so tired. and i had to go to school again today. sigh. we should put more hours into a day.

OH YAY. happy church camp. i think this will be a looong post. :)

sunday

went to church. excited. did cradle roll duty for a while, but only clement, kynda, dillion and lois were there. so kat and i went to help jimmy and jane laminate playing cards. up to malacca we go. the resort isnt exactly the nicest place ever, but more than the place, the fellowship is more important. roomed with jean, kat, jan, charis, janice. the whole apartment concept is cool as it allows us to interact more with each other.

c4 games. purity under pressure.

yay. jane and jimmy were great at planning this. our group really bonded quite a bit. i was really worried when we started out, cos of the disunity and youth of our group. then jane told me,"i have full faith in you and kat." OH. okay. but YAY. jane is so clever. we did it. yay. plus+ we were the group with the highest team pts, making us the most united team. ha.

solomon a.k.a. solo-man

love my group. youth: jane, kat, harry, yuan shuai, issac, wayne, joash, amos. fun nite performance went great! the rubbermaids, swinging sweepers and solo-man idol contestants. had great fun preparing for the event.

theme talks

learnt a lot about holiness. theme was clean hands, pure hearts. so it was really a time of cleansing and purifying ourselves, learning about how to journey in holiness.

youth

whoohoo! we rock. so many talented people, when is our band going to be formed? haha. choir boy matt. cheerleader jean. :) ben and i on kb, josh on guit/drums, kat/jan on drums, choir boy with the vocals. :) haha. we always bond even more everytime. even whilst feeding the fish this morning. steph thanks for coming back. missed you so. :) joel i still dont get the poking my face thing.

and of course there were many unforgettable events. certain someones getting locked out of their apartments, certain someones becoming infatuated with cute little boys.. :) getting panadol, running around, waking up so early and sleeping so late.. man-go, newton kwek, doris, idiot, :)

i'm quite enjoying my holidays now. except the school part. :)

went to grace's house again today. but this time with hil, fuz, and min. completed the dance concert tee. hopefully it's okay. cos my art skills arent very good.

grace has a nice modern matching house. :) and they shoot monkeys with water guns. i like the cupboard toilet the best. the toilet is hidden inside the toilet. it's ingenious. :)

ooh church is such a happening place. there were three separate groups of ppl in church today. and considering the size of our congregation i would say that almost half if not more than half of us were there. so cool. :)

one. i made a new friend on monday night. yay. ok. childish. but i cherish every friendship i have. :)
two. i get to play 2nd keyboards for youth sunday. i hope ben will teach me during church camp.
three. high after seeing so many at church today. went for prayer meeting with shan and jimmy.
four. church camp is in 4 days time. :) so soon. yay. i cant wait.
five. stephanie is COMING!!! yay. i cant wait to see her again.

oh yay. life is so blissful.

yeah right. o's just around the corner. oh well. i guess i just have to trust God to work things out the way they are meant to be. but i thank him for so many things to be thankful for. i can be a happy sec 4! :)

lorraine- her baba fats will explode.
dawn- pirrou-tex. she can pirrouette so fast she creates a vortex that everthing else spins in the other direction
maria- flabber. flabby fingers. she can hit people with her hands. which is by the way, very VERY painful.
biru- runner. she can run so fast she can run over water.
jiayun- buzzer. she can control all the bees of the world.
jolyn- she snores when she sleeps and laughs when shes awake.
audrey- i can scream at so high a freqency it's inaudible to human ears. :)

dance. like the whole day. :) haha. went to watch she's the man with lorr, dawn, ~~jiayun~~ maria. sorry. it's really nice. and has a hot guy. who is orsino. haha. dawn was observing his abs everytime he talked. :) the cstd summer school concert was really funny. judith was undoubtedly the best dorothy gladstone candidate. and the pas de deux choreographed by ong long was the best item of the night (along with sylphides, of course). i really like the hiphop item the level six people did. minyi won the under-15 scholarship. yay. congrats girl. but i thought that minmin should have won for her level. :( she got 1st runner up. maybe cos they think she has many more chances.

Sunday
church. had a meeting abt youth sunday. then i went to babysit eli with kat. he's so cute. kat and i helped aunty heather to make a suprise. but i cant say what yet. cos it's yet to be executed. maybe tmr.

Yesterday
went shopping for jumping costume with mini. got my shirt and pants. then... yay this is the exciting part... went to church for study group. and i mean study study. like bio and chem and stuff. not Bible study. not that i dont want it to be Bible study either. yay. yay. it worked. i'm so happy.. :)

Today
school. and i watched mi3. :) holidays are so boring. and my back hurts. i cant bend it. :(

lectures all day long.

to the point that everyone is dying during the second lecture. so in the end we get let off an hour early. why cant they just cut short the whole thing? we dont absorb much. i cant remember what we learnt during physics.

i have to remember to do 2 important things.
1. buy my jumping costume.
2. ... uh oh. i forgot. darn. remember what the other thing was. yes.

i remember the weirdest things. like poisoning the cat next door during our ice finger gang meeting years ago. oh wow. it was like 12 years ago. wow. :) haha. and i cant remember things like i need to meet michelle. argh.

yay. i like mr tang. he wrote me a referral letter. and it's nice and thick and has a lot of adjectives. it's supposed to be sealed but the envelope is kinda see-through. anyways, only can see a bit. i'm going to apply to vj. i hope i get in. :)
